Starbuck Hall Meeting

Welcome

Present:
Carol Mosset, Nancy Dyck, Diane Trudeau, Jen Fischer, Ron Schade, Janis McMorran.

Absent: Dan Gargan, Trevor Stark

This mini, informal meeting was to discuss the logistics of hosting “Ring Master” wrestling match. There were 2 shows available: Family Show and The Bar Show. We needed to deposit $600 plus split the revenue on concessions and tickets. They would do the advertising. There would be 5 matches lasting about 2 hours.

We felt so far that we would not be able to draw enough people to make any money. We felt it would be a great event to be held in the Beer Gardens at the Starbuck Annual Softball Tournament. We would pass the info to Grant Kendall.

Nancy was going to phone La Broquerie and Warren, Manitoba for references.

We felt we would proceed with the Fred Penner concert for Manitoba Homecoming on May 15, 2010. We would plan more of this event later.

Diane created some business cards and we decided to advertise the hall in the “Coffee-Cup Chatter” – a southern Manitoba coffee shop newsletter.
